Rosina, 53, and her teacher husband relocated to regional New South Wales to raise their six children, aged 10 to 20. Yet, they’ve found fulfillment in their choices, relying on government support and their unshakable partnership to make ends meet.
But this is where opinions diverge: Jangelah pushes back against stereotypes that large families are religious, poor, or motivated by benefits. “We’re proof that with the right support, it’s possible,” she asserts, calling for greater societal and governmental assistance for families like hers.
