In an exciting development, Silva has started training for a new role with the Beverly Hills Police Department, which he announced after his historic knockout victory over Woodley. He expressed a desire to give back to the community he has been part of for many years.

"I’m heading back to work now to join the Police Academy for the Beverly Hills PD," he stated in a post-fight interview with Ariel Helwani. He also reiterated his wish to continue fighting, even as he approaches his milestone birthday in 2025.
